192 printed cards. Four tribes. One box on your table. The world of The Battle of Polytopia, made out of paper, cardboard and plastic — no screen required.

The Battle of Polytopia has been played on phones for eight years. This is the version that comes in a box, gets dealt around a table, and never needs charging.
Each tribe is a complete 48-card deck with its own art: cities, forests, mountains and fields to claim, temples and markets to build on them, warriors and riders to send out, and enemies worth points when you beat them. Same deck structure across all four tribes — a different world on every card.
The complete Imperius deck · 48 cards · production artwork
Four worlds, four decks, four card backs. Base · 01 brings Imperius & Xin-xi. Base · 02 brings Oumaji & Bardur. The Deluxe edition brings all four.

Marble columns, blue banners and an orchestra in the forum. The empire that writes the rule before anyone has to ask.

Steep paths, sharp wind and terraces cut into the rock. The mountain people who watch the valley below.

Sandstone halls, long shadows and gold under the dunes. The riders who cross the longest distances.
No twenty-page manual. The card in your hand tells you what it does, and the player board keeps the score honest.
Play forests, fields, mountains and oceans in front of you. That land is your civilisation, and it is where everything else gets built.
Cities, markets, saw mills, temples and parks go on top of the right terrain. Each one is worth points, and some multiply what is under them.
Warriors, archers, riders, giants and ships take on enemy villages, castles and capitals. Beat them and they are worth points too.
Score cards stack up as you go. When the last round ends, the biggest civilisation takes it.
Rendered by Midjiwan in the same low-poly style that made the digital game recognisable on sight.
Everything four players need, in one box. Nothing to download, nothing to unlock.
Score cards · 2, 4, 8 and 40
Two Base editions with a pair of tribes each, and a Deluxe that brings all four together with the full component treatment.
The lawful empire meets the mountain people.
Desert riders meet frost-hardened forest dwellers.
The complete game, four players, in one box.

No. This is a physical card game: printed cards, cardboard boards and dials, plastic miniatures, a box. The Polytopia app stays exactly as it is and is a separate product.
No. It plays as a standalone card game. If you do know the app you will recognise every city, unit and temple on the cards.
There is no map to explore and no fog of war. You build your civilisation out of the cards in your hand and score it, in fifteen to thirty minutes.
Base · 01 ships Imperius & Xin-xi and Base · 02 ships Oumaji & Bardur, so the entry price stays sensible. Two owners of different Base boxes can play together. Deluxe has all four tribes.
Q4 2026. The exact date goes to this list first, ahead of any public announcement.
